Rapture Mysteries No.1 : Obey the Four Fundamental Truths.
1. Observe the four prohibitions
-
To abstain from sacrifices for idols.
-
To abstain from eating blood.
-
To abstain from Eating Strangled Animals.
-
To abstain from committing adultery.
Acts 15:28~29
"It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden you with anything beyond the following requirements: You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things."
2. Eating and drinking according to the Lord's word
In the bread-breaking gathering, the leader of the assembly demanded that the congregation examine themselves first and confess their sins before they could eat the bread and drink the wine of the Lord. After the examination, the leader should first give thanks for the bread, then break it and distribute it to the congregation. All of them should get it and wait for it before eating it together. After eating the bread, he should give thanks for the cup. After giving thanks, he should distribute the cup to the congregation. Everyone should get it and drink it together. They should use unleavened bread and wine (grape juice is also acceptable).
Cor. 11:23~26
"For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes."
3. Observing the Tithe
The tithe is a very important item. If you don't keep the tithe, the curse will come. The Bible says not to tempt God, and the whole Bible says you can't tempt God. In the tithe, God says you can try it to see if God opens the windows of heaven for you and pours blessings on you.
Mal. 3:10
"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it."
4. Sunday Observance
Keep Sunday as a holy day. You should observe Sunday as a holy day from the moment of your baptism until your death. If you are absent on Sunday, you must confess your sins to the Lord. Furthermore, you must not miss worship on the Lord's Day. Violating the Sabbath (the Lord's Day) is a serious sin, and the Old Testament prescribed death as the punishment.
Exodus 20:10
"but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns."
Rapture Mystery No.2: Becoming a Wise Virgin
Matthew 25:1-13
“At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
“At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’
“Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’
“ ‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’
“But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
“Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’
“But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’
“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
The Explicit Statement of the Ten Virgins
When the Lord Jesus comes again, let's say the total number of saints still alive will be ten—five who are not filled with the Holy Spirit and five who are. These ten Christians possess the ability to be both salt and light simultaneously; they are prepared for the Lord's arrival and firmly grounded in the truth. But because of his kindness toward the world, the Lord might delay the day of his return. Then, external events will somehow cause the ten virgins to experience bodily or spiritual frailty.
When the last trumpet sounds, it is time for the rapture, and a voice says, "Come out quickly to meet the Lord Christ!" The ten virgins hear the voice, become alert, and immediately examine themselves to prepare for the rapture. At this time, five of the virgins who are not filled with the Holy Spirit realize that they lack a certain power of the Holy Spirit. They immediately ask the five virgins, who are always filled with the Holy Spirit, to come and help them, so that they could also be filled with the Holy Spirit. At this point, the five virgins filled with the Holy Spirit tell them that time is too tight, and they are too overwhelmed to take care of themselves. “Go and get it yourself.” As they make their way to retrieve it, the Holy Spirit instantly transforms the bodies of the five virgins who were filled with the Holy Spirit, and they swiftly ascend. As they meet Christ in the clouds in the air, the other five recognize the rapture of the saints and loudly call out the Lord's name.
The Lord Christ tells them, "I don’t know you. Therefore, it is crucial for you to remain alert, receive baptism from the Holy Spirit, maintain a constant presence of the Holy Spirit, and prepare for the Lord's return, as you may not know when He will return."
What is a "virgin" ? What are "wise" and "foolish" virgins?
"Vessel" symbolizes Christians; "oil" symbolizes the Holy Spirit.
"In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work." 2 Timothy 2:20–21
The lamp represents identity and title. The oil in the lamp represents a born-again, saved Christian.
"John is a lighted lamp whose light you are willing to enjoy for a while." John 5:35
"I will cause the horn of David to arise there; I will prepare a light for my anointed." Psalm 132:17
"He that curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall go out, and he shall be turned into darkness." Proverbs 20:20
"Virgin" characterizes the pure Christian.
"My anger for you is the anger of God. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I might present you as a chaste virgin to Christ." 2 Corinthians 11:2
The "oil of preparation" signifies the constant filling with the Holy Spirit and the ability to pray in tongues at all times, in all places, and everywhere.
"Differences among the 'fullness of the Holy Spirit,' 'water baptism,' and the 'baptism of the Holy Spirit.'"
-
Water baptism (baptism by immersion, John's baptism) is the reception of the Holy Spirit of life.
-
There is also the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which is the receiving of the Holy Spirit of power, verified by praying in tongues.
-
The Holy Spirit baptism and water baptism occur only once.
-
Being filled with the Holy Spirit occurs often, many times, and continuously.
“Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.” Acts 2:2-4
“and asked them, ‘Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?’
They answered, ‘No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.’
So Paul asked, ‘Then what baptism did you receive?’
‘John’s baptism,’ they replied. Paul said, ‘John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.’ On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied. There were about twelve men in all.” Acts 19:2–7
“While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message. The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on Gentiles. For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God. Acts 10:44–46
"Similarities and Differences Between 'Wise Virgins' and 'Foolish Virgins'"
11 Similarities
-
Both are virgins, which means they are saints of pure faith and perfect holiness.
-
Both have lamps. Both are Christians baptized into the name of the Lord Christ.
-
Both have oil in their lamps: born-again, saved saints with the life of the Lord.
-
The lamps are lit by saints who have done good and are able to practice biblical truth.
-
They are all vessels (vessels for oil, which is a foretaste of the Holy Spirit) and saints who are always ready for the coming of Christ.
-
They all hear the voice of the Holy Spirit.
-
They all know that if the lamps go out (they have no good behaviors), they cannot be raptured.
-
They all know that when the oil is running out, they should add oil immediately.
-
They all doze off to sleep, indicating that each of them has a time of weakness.
-
They all rise up and put away their lamps, indicating that they also have a watchful eye.
-
They all desire the rapture.
1 difference
The distinguishing factor between wise and foolish virgins is based on whether the vessel has prepared the oil.
All virgins have lamps and oils. The lamps are bright.
-
The five foolish virgins don’t have oil in their vessels.
-
The five wise virgins have oil in their vessels.
Ten virgins, two different endings
“The wise virgins are lifted up into the air and given bodies of glory. The foolish virgins are left behind.
They fall into the great tribulation, enduring the seven bowls of tribulation, and are persecuted by the Antichrist.
Finally, they pass through the judgment of the Throne of Glory.
Those who are judged as sheep enter the Millennial Kingdom and become citizens of the Millennial Kingdom for a thousand years of great abundance.
Those who are judged as goats or who have stamped the mark of the Antichrist because of their lack of faith will be put to death.
Rapture Mystery No. 3: Give Account of Ministry of Gifts and Ability
Account of ministry by gifts from the Holy Spirit
Matthew 25:14-30 refers to "the ministry of the gifts of the Holy Spirit,"
which is referring to "the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit" as recorded in 1 Corinthians 12:4-11.
-
words of wisdom
-
Words of knowledge
-
Faith
-
Heal the sick.
-
Perform miraculous powers.
-
Be a prophet.
-
Discern spirits
-
Speaking in tongues
-
Interpretation of tongues
All these gifts are distributed by the Spirit as He determines. Without the Spirit granting these gifts, human effort alone will be in vain.
The ministry of the gifts of the Holy Spirit’s power is divided into three categories:
The first group receives five bags of gold: they must earn an additional five bags of gold to receive the Lord’s praise, and in the future, they will be entrusted with many things in the Millennium.
The second group receives two bags of gold: they must earn an additional two bags of gold and likewise receive the Lord’s praise, just as those in the first group.
The third group receives one bag of gold: if they bury their one bag of gold in the ground, they will be condemned by the Lord.
The Lord says, 'Throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
Such believers will not be taken up; they will be left behind.
If one has not received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, they cannot pray in tongues at any time or be continually filled with the Holy Spirit.
It is also impossible to earn the equivalent of five, two, or even one bag of gold.
Without the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit, their ministry of gifts would amount to nothing.
Account of Ministry by Ability
"The ministry of ability refers to the income from the ministry of the ability mentioned in Luke 19:12–26.
Preaching, visiting, ushering, organ playing, singing in the choir, receiving offerings, giving testimonies, distributing evangelistic leaflets, entertaining, cleaning the temple, wiping tables and chairs, preaching the gospel, arranging flowers, etc. are all considered talents. These all belong to the category of "service with talents."
Basic conditions for earning minas:
-
Tithing is required.
-
Must participate in various church ministries and never miss Sunday worship or important weekday meetings as co-workers.
-
Must observe the Ten Commandments and partake of the Lord's Supper properly.
Earning ten minas: This involves leading ten or multiples of ten seekers to believe in the Lord, leading five people to be filled with the Holy Spirit, or leading one person into glory.
Earning five minas: This involves leading five seekers to believe in the Lord.
Earning one mina: By depositing it in a bank to gain interest, one can also earn more than one mina.
Accountability for gifts: The application of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit. Accountability for talents: Service through intellectual and practical abilities.
Rapture Mystery No. 4: Prepare a bright white garment of fine linen, bearing the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 5:22–23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Revelation 19: 7-8
Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory!
For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.
Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.”
(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)
The saints prepare for the Lord's return not only by preparing oil in the vessels, but also by preparing bright white linen garments.
Revelation 19:8 makes it clear: the garments of linen are the righteousness of the saints. This entails doing good deeds and bearing the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit.
The nine fruits of the Holy Spirit are the manifestations of the Holy Spirit that the Holy Spirit bestows upon those who are filled with the Holy Spirit. This allows those who need it to bear the fruits of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit can produce the nine fruits in daily life or at any time. They are the manifestation of life after the Holy Spirit's indwelling.
